COVID-19 Protocols
Animal Behavior Focus makes both home visits and offers Zoom sessions for interested parties. We take COVID-19 very seriously.
Our current precautions:
Hands are sanitized before and after all sessions.
Completely vaccinated as of April 2020.
Masks can be worn upon request for concerned clients.
We do offer Zoom sessions for interested parties.
“Ask Amanda: Learning to Manage Shy & Reactive Dogs” humane education seminar hosted by Dog-Harmony, a 501(c)3 for shelter workers and volunteers in 2021.
Rescue Friendly
Animal Behavior Focus has also donated many hours to several rescue organizations in Texas and Florida to evaluate dogs (and sometimes other animals!) and build behavior modification plans for newly adopted and/or fostered dogs.
We focus on modifying behavior and managing fearful and aggressive animals located in the Emerald Coast area of Florida and Houston, Texas. Prior to relocating to Miramar Beach, we partnered on many cases with Dr. Lore Haug, the only Veterinarian Behaviorist in the Houston area.
